Clients spec'ing cutaway custom built busses,  are requiring extreme 12 volt power for their heavy duty applications and extensive overhead loads, in some cases over 130 amps at idle.  Stock OE chassis 12 volt power supplies can't even come close.  Increase your build performance for your customers by installing an APS Heavy Duty Alternator.  Now standard spec on most DOTs and OE custom body builders.

APS regulators with PCM control for Ford Smart Charging ® are an option for 2009.  The APS unit will mount directly onto the OE or aftermarket bracket and into the OE harness plug.  All of our heavy duty alternators have an internal regulator.  No brackets, cut wiring or separate wiring harnesses are required.  

Upgraded output and ground wires are required due to higher power output.
