APS Named SBA Small Business Exporter of the Year for Iowa, Kansas, Missouri & Nebraska

We have some exciting news to share!

We have been named the Small Business Exporter of the Year by the Region 7 Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

As Exporter of the Year for the state of Iowa and the region, APS will represent Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska during National Small Business Week, a celebration of small businesses across the US, set for May 4-8, 2020.

APS manufactures and provides systems that generate and store ample power for working vehicles to fleet-based enterprises and government entities around the world. Since 2006, we have developed a reputation as the industry leader for high output alternators and dual alternator brackets and kits for commercial and defense vehicles in the US and internationally.

APS has exported its products and services to every continent except Antarctica; regularly attends international trade shows and takes part in state-sponsored trade missions; and ultimately seeks to serve vehicle end-users across the globe with power systems that enable them to stay safe and get the job done.

The Small Business Exporter of the Year Award goes to small businesses that exhibit success and dedication to exporting products or services. Applicants for the award are selected based on business growth and increased sales, creative overseas marketing strategies, effective problem-solving and effective use of federal and state trade promotion programs, according to the SBA.

More information about National Small Business Week is available on the SBA Website.
