American Power Systems, Inc. provides high output alternators, dual alternator brackets and kits, high idle controls and other power accessories to help make the most of Ford F-Series vehicles and fleets.
Our Ford F-Series dual alternators and bracket kits can significantly increase vehicle output; when coupled with high idle controls, even more current becomes available at idle without the addition of batteries. APS also offers a triple alternator bracket solution for some F-Series diesel engine types. Please inquire for details.

APS provides Ford F-Series dual alternators, kits – and for some engines, even a triple alternator bracket option. Our bracketry and kits are designed with the following tenets in mind:
- Ease of installation. We provide instructions that are intended for vehicle integrators and body builders
- Minimal disruption. Our designs usually do not disrupt the OEM engine schematic; when they do, changes are minimal
- OEM mounts are used whenever practical
